Classes

 

Gentle Trapeze

Gentle Trapeze is a beginner’s class. We will be focused on learning how to confidently handle the trapeze- coming in and out of the swing, getting comfortable with hanging upside down, and flowing through basic trapeze poses. This is a good place to start if you have minimal to no experience on the trapeze or if you’d like to build stamina. Even if you already feel comfortable on the trapeze this is a good option for an easygoing class.

Power Hour

Power Hour is an intermediate class focused on building strong upper body & core and practicing traction sequences. You will be guided through a series of trapeze poses aimed at developing energy and vigor with the added benefit of relieving tension in the body. This is aimed at people who have experience with the trapeze, we will be combining inversion therapy and strengthening exercise to achieve maximum mobility.

 

Slow Flow

Our Slow Flow class consists of deep stretching. The practice will be held close to the floor incorporating tractions and inversion poses. This class is slow and steady.

 

Happy Back

This class is designed to lengthen and strengthen your spine. Many of us spend most of the day sitting, the yoga trapeze is a useful tool to alleviate compression built up in the spine, allowing each vertebrae to lengthen up to one centimeter. Creating space between the vertebrae gives way for new cartilage production. Likewise, regenerating your spine automatically regenerates your nervous system releasing nervous tension from past traumatic experiences and physiological difficulties. Opening the upper back also opens the heart chakra and lungs.

 

Morning Flow

This is a steady paced class for early birds who like to start the day fresh, with a flowing sequence to energize the body and mind. Greeting the morning with intentional movement is the backbone to a lively day. Our ancestors knew the benefits of such practices for building power and mental lucidity. We will focus on waking up the body and unblocking stuck blocks from the previous day.
